Holiday Decorations for just $1 + paper scraps

After seeing so many people buy Christmas trees and other festive decorations this holiday season, I decided to also decorate. But my goal was to be resourceful, inexpensive, and use only reclaimed or reused items. So I went to my local city nursery, Adams & Sons Gardens, and bought broken or cut tree branches - 3 for $1!

I used the three tree branches to form the shape of a Christmas tree and nailed it to my wall.

I used twine to connect all the branches at the bottom to form a ‘trunk’.

I used left over paper scraps from TIPINFOLD BOOKS to punch out circles that I taped onto string. I folded the same paper to form the star.

After I trimmed the three branches to form a triangular tree shape, I used those scraps to create a wreath using a curved coat hanger, and left over ribbon. The branches were tied together by twine.

Lastly, I used the same paper scraps to make this spinning centerpiece over the dining room table.

And there you have it: $1 + recycled paper decorations!!!
